Experience
Sabrina L. Speights, Ph.D., joins the Center for Creative Leadership as a seasoned expert in organizational science. Previously, Sabrina was an Assistant Professor of Business and Management at Wheaton College, Massachusetts, where she developed and taught courses on organizational behavior, human resource management, and senior theses.
Sabrina’s research focuses on specializing in the work-life interface and employee well-being with a particular interest in work-home boundary management, gender differences, and couple dynamics. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Business and Psychology and Occupational Health Science. Sabrina is also an advocate of experiential learning and has published her learning strategies in outlets such as Management Teaching Review.
Current Role
At the Center for Creative Leadership, Dr. Speights continues her research on the work-life interface. Specifically, she is working on one project focusing on gendered couple dynamics and another, a measurement development for the concept work-life ideologies. She is also beginning a project of a potential intervention to help organizations better understand the important links between work and life outside of work.
