360-degree feedback: Best practices to ensure impact

Summary

The 360-degree feedback process, in which subordinates, peers, bosses, and/or customers provide behavioral and performance feedback to recipients, is pervasive in management and human resource development practices. This paper presents best practices that can ensure positive impact. The suggestions are based on a review of literature that addresses 360-degree impact and behavioral change.
