Summary
What are the essential leadership capabilities and skillsets needed for Chinese leaders to effectively lead and succeed in today’s organization? Center for Creative Leadership research found the most important competencies for Chinese leaders are managing people and managing tasks. Competency gaps on leading employees, participative management, and change management were discovered. Insights and developmental advice to help close the leadership gaps are provided.
