Summary

To create a business strategy that leads to a superior-performing organization, it is important to formulate and execute an effective leadership development strategy. This paper provides an overview of the four key elements required to develop an effective leadership strategy. The strategy must: (1) identify the critical drivers of organizational success, (2) shape a culture that provides the conditions for individuals to perform, (3) create a strong a sustainable talent pipeline, and (4) evolve the organizational design to best support execution on the business strategy.
