Summary

In 1973, Henry Mintzberg published a groundbreaking book titled The Nature of Managerial Work in which he set out to consider an important, but what he felt to be a rarely investigated, question, “What does a manager do?” In the rush toward globalization, now over 3 decades later, the actual work of the manager has largely been forgotten. It’s time to take a detailed look at what global managers really do.
