    Ramya has extensive experience in the fields of data science and machine learning. While working on her master’s degree, she worked on multiple projects related to text analytics and natural language processing. Prior to CCL, Ramya was a data analyst at Tokai Carbon GE LLC. She analyzed Tokai’s sales data and gave recommendations to improve sales in different areas based on the results. She also worked as a data analyst intern with E4 Carolinas. While at E4, she analyzed the emissions rate of energy production across different states in the USA for the past 20 years. She has also contributed in giving recommendations to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) to decrease the emissions rate based on the data analysis. Overall, her expertise lies in analyzing data by using advanced algorithms to extract valuable information.

    Current Role

    Ramya currently works as a data scientist supporting research projects and external client work. She is working on projects related to text analytics and has been working on leadership challenge datasets to create taxonomies of challenges using text analytics. She is responsible for training other team members on the advanced techniques in the field of data science to analyze data more effectively, and is actively engaged in ongoing professional development related to network analytics and leadership..
