Stephanie Wormington, Director of Strategic Research, is featured in a publication of the most productive early career scholars in educational psychology. She was ranked #13 in educational psychology journals based on number of articles and authorship order.

Prior to joining CCL, Stephanie was a professor of education at the University of Virginia. Her work in educational psychology primarily focused on academic motivation in adolescence and adulthood, with an emphasis on social influences, developmental trajectories, individual differences, interventions, and systems-level change. She continues to explore motivation in leadership development and organizational settings, with some of her more recent efforts at CCL exploring the motivational factors that inhibit or support young professionals’ engagement and empowerment in leadership positions.
